CCD Gift Cards are transferable and never expire.

Purchasing an Item using a CCD Gift Card
1. Wear the Card.
This information appears in the right upper corner of your viewer and shows your current credit on your CCD Gift Card. It doesn’t matter if you click “OK” or “Ignore”.
2. Right click on the vendor of the item you want to purchase.
3. Select “touch” in the pie menu.

The following menu appears. You can choose to use your card to purchase the item immediately OR you can choose gift if you want to buy the item as a gift for someone.
4. Click “Use Card”

After you clicked “Use Card” this menu will appear.
5. Click “Use Credit”
6. You will receive your product if the credit was enough to cover the price of the product you wanted to purchase.
(in this example the credit is more than the price of the chosen item: you will receive your item right away).
!!NOTE!! After step 5 the credits from your store card are charged. You will not get them back, even if you decide not to pay the vendor and/or follow the next steps.

If your credit is less than the price of the chosen item, you have to pay the remaining amount of money:
7. This text will show up in local chat:
” L$…… was charged from your Rewards Card. You may now pay the price of L$…… to complete your purchase. “
8. Right click on the vendor
9. Select “pay” in the pie menu
10. Click the “L$ … ” button
You will receive your product.

Gifting an Item.
If you would like to buy a gift for someone you can pay the full amount or you can use the CCD Gift Card.
1. Right click on the vendor of the item you want to purchase.
2. Select “touch” in the pie menu.

3.A. You don’t wear the CCD Gift Card

3.B. You do wear the the CCD Gift Card

4. Click the button “Gift”
The following text will appear in local chat:
Please use channel 1 to say the UUID, or name of the person who should receive the gift. (E.g. /1Caithlin Carter)
Jewellery: Please note, to provide a UUID leave a space after the channel. E.g. /1 575de4d7-add9-448a-bf8b-3873aacd6e53
Jewellery: You may touch me to cancel this process at any time.
The easiest method is to type in chat: /1 Caithlin Carter (I used my own name as example)
5. Type in local chat: /1 <avatar name>
The following text will appear in local chat:
You may now purchase your gift for caithlin carter using your Customer Rewards Card, or via direct payment.
The system is now available once again. You may purchase your gift for caithlin carter. Please make sure he/she is not Away or Busy at the time of your purchase!

After selecting the name of the person who you like to buy a gift you need to pay the item.
6.A. You don’t want to pay via the CCD Gift card.
6.A.1. Right click on the vendor
6.A.2.Select “pay” in the pie menu
6.A.3.Click the “L$ … ” button
The chosen person will receive your gift.

6.B. You do want to pay via the CCD Gift Card
6.B.1. Click “Use Card”

6.B.2. Click “Use Credit”
The chosen person will receive your gift if the credit was enough to cover the price of the product you wanted to purchase.
